Style matters to them now, but so does comfort, and older kids are quick to reject fabric that feels stiff, hot or scratchy even when they cannot articulate why. Fit changes too: proportions lengthen, so sizing by height rather than age becomes essential, and trousers are almost always outgrown in length well before they wear out. This is the top of our range, so pieces here are cut with a bit more room and made to hold shape through heavy use and frequent washing. In the UAE, breathable cotton remains the sensible base year round, with light layers for cold classrooms and cooler winter months. Involve your child in the choice; at this age it is the single biggest factor in whether something gets worn.

What size does a 10 year old wear?
Most 10 year olds are at the top of our range, in 9 to 10 or 10 to 11 year sizing. Always measure height, since children this age differ enormously in build.
Does Dinooz make clothes above 10 years?
Our range runs from newborn to about 10 years. The largest sizes are cut with extra room, so they often suit slightly older children too, but 10 to 11 years is where the size guide ends.
Why do trousers get too short before they wear out?
Children this age grow in height faster than in width. Sizing by height rather than age, and choosing a slightly longer leg, buys several extra months of wear.
